What is it:
Summer Stretch is a program led by a high school leader to put their faith in action and be the light of Christ through reflection on the Word of God and participation in service projects for the greater community followed by afternoon adventures with friends. Days will start and end at Holy Family 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
Cost is $165 per Participant and Teen Leader (or $50 per day). Cost includes two meals within the week, Summer Stretch t-shirt, service projects, and afternoon recreation activities. Valley Fair is only open to those who participate in three or more of the service days.

Daily Schedule:
8:00 a.m. –Mass @ Holy Family
8:35 a.m. – Youth Gather in Holy Family Academy Foyer, Check In
9:00 a.m. – Service Projects at church and local community
11:00 a.m. – Service Site check out/ Youth Reflection
11:30 a.m. – LUNCH
12:00 p.m. – Social/ Recreational activity
4:00 p.m. – Closing Prayer and Check-out at Holy Family Academy Foyer
Role of Highschool Leader:
They are to motivate and lead a group of about 5-8 middle schoolers. They are to participate in every aspect of Summer Stretch: prayer and gospel; service; and team-building activities. This is a very rewarding peer mentor opportunity.
Role of Parent Chaperone:
The parents are integral to the Summer Stretch experience. Every parent has the opportunity to help during service and help chaperone morning and afternoon activities. Each parent willing to help will need the appropriate background and drivers check, and have Virtus training.
