Religious Education: Grades 1 - 8

Wednesday Evening Religious Education Program

We welcome all children who attend public schools, non-Catholic private school, or are home schooled to join us for Religious Education classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM at Holy Family Academy. Our program combines education in Catholic doctrine and tradition with prayer and Adoration. We will meet weekly starting September 27th, 2017, through May 2018.

We begin each week’s lesson with a large group time for prayer followed by grade level classroom instruction using the Faith and Life series by Ignatius Press. Our classes are taught by Catechists and Seminarians who have undergone background checks and Child Protection Training (VIRTUS). Monthly, we will make visits to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament at the parish, and during the seasons of Advent and Lent we will also have an opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Confession. During the season of Lent we will also attend the Stations of the Cross.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact John Hartnett at 952.999.4822 or by email jhartnett@hfamn.org.
