Service Projects

Rake -N- Run

Each year, the Youth Ministry Program organizes service projects to help people in our own parish and in our community. On the Rake-N-Run, the youth ride a bus "running" to the homes of those parishioners who have signed up for this service, and rake their yards. This is a way for our teens to give back to their community and to gain a better understanding of what it means to serve others.

Christmas Caroling

Let us spread Christmas cheer!  We will sing Christmas carols and then enjoy an Epiphany party at the Golden Living Centers.  Date YET TO BE DETERMINED.  Check Flocknote and the Bulletin for details during the Advent/Christmas season.

Single Seniors Valentine's Dinner and Talent Show

On a date YET TO BE DETERMINED, we will have a Valentine's Dinner for our parish’s single seniors in Moorman Hall, following the 5 PM Mass. Our youth will serve the dinner, and then provide entertainment for the guests. Start thinking of the talents you could share to make this an enjoyable night!  Need an idea?  Singing an oldie but goodie musical number is always a hit!  Other ideas include poetry, dance, and instrumental renditions.  Check Flocknote and the Bulletin for details in Jan./Feb.

Church Cleaning

Lent is a great time for the spring cleaning of our souls as we celebrate the mystery of our Redemption, but let us not forget the spring cleaning of our Church!  On the Saturday before Palm Sunday, or a date YET to be DETERMINED, all youth are strongly encouraged to help clean the Church to prepare it for the beautiful and sacred times of Holy Week and Easter season.  The Parish counts on us to help God’s glory shine again in our sacred space!  Check Flocknote and the Bulletin for details during Lent.
