About Us

Holy Family, a vibrant and growing Roman Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, is located in the beautiful Sorenson neighborhood in St. Louis Park, just west of downtown Minneapolis.

We have grown by an average of 92 new families each year since 2000. In addition to the new families, we cherish the longtime parishioners, many of whom have been here since the church was built.

We are fortunate to have our Pre-K through 8th grade school, Holy Family Academy, just across the street. Since the school's re-opening in 2001, Holy Family Academy has grown from 58 students to over 230, our staff has increased from four to 24, and our student formation and school programs have multiplied exponentially, yet, in spite of our growth, one thing will never change ~ we are solidly planted on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church He built and will forever remain dedicated to forming saints for the Kingdom of Heaven. 

The children of Holy Family Academy join us at 8:00 am daily for Mass and frequent the Adoration Chapel and the Sanctuary for prayer times, Stations of the Cross, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Altar boys and lectors for daily Mass are either from our many homeschool families or students at Holy Family Academy.

We are truly a family!
